If you have a standard mountain bike fork that came with your bike, or you have bought an aftermarket fork, the tune is standard and created by the fork maker.

Davide Bagnoli as a specialist fork tuner with many years of training and experience with Bagnoli Bike race team and many high performance riders. Davide shows how to adjust a standard Rockshox Pike fork and tune with a special Andreani fork kit so it gives riders an additional positive ride experience and better performance.

The Andreani Fork Tuning Kit

To tune the fork a special tuning kit is used which changes the shim stack and the flow of the oil in the system.

Conclusion

The fork now will have a stiffer racing tune with better off the top compression and a more tuned return stroke, the action of the fork is also now smoother. The fork is “better,” than a new fork in many ways and according to Davide most riders will feel an appreciate the difference and the tune made just for them.

IMG_2913low-res

The new fork is ready to ride and total cost of the tune depending on kit tune used and oil is around €250. This is significantly cheaper than a new fork.

The secret to forks lies here, these two pistons working together give the rider the the best ride experience according to the piston styles used.

Davide is available for your tuning requirements and guarantees a better ride experience with all types of fork.
